Our Wedding

How We MetFebruary 2, 2022 is where it all began! Bill and Jill met at Mad Rose Pub and got to know each other while watching a Flames game. They discovered their shared love of hockey, with Jill especially happy that Bill played hockey. They also found out that they are both fans of the Saskatchewan Roughriders. This mutual passion for sports brought them together, and since then, they have attended many hockey games and Roughrider games together. They also share a love of golfing and have enjoyed many rounds together since meeting in 2022. For Jill, it was important that her boyfriend’s name rhymed with hers, and Bill was the perfect match! Both Bill and Jill love to laugh and be loud, making their time together even more enjoyable.Blending FamiliesBill and Jill both have children—Bill has Allison, who is 13, and Jill has Quinn, who is 20. It has been wonderful to begin blending their families. They are grateful that their kids are creating memories together. The families have attended football and hockey games as a group, and Quinn and Allison enjoy cheering each other on in their respective sports: Ringette for Allison and Hockey for Quinn.The ProposalOn August 16, 2025, Bill and Jill took a vacation to Regina with family and friends to attend a Saskatchewan Roughriders game. Bill wanted the proposal to be unforgettable and surprised Jill by proposing to her on the field in front of 26,000 people. Jill was overwhelmed with joy and love, and the thought of spending forever with Bill felt like a dream come true.We are blessed that we share the same faith and get to stand before God and declare our love for each other. This spiritual connection has deepened our bond and brought us even closer as a couple, giving us a strong foundation for our future together.We cant wait to celebrate our wedding with you!With love &amp; gratitudeBill &amp; Jill

Katherine is a stylish, graceful, and thoughtful friend. She and Jill have shared over twenty years of friendship, enjoying theater, dance parties, travel, board games, cards, and outdoor activities like pickleball, golf, hiking, and biking together. When Jill met Bill, he easily joined Katherine and her husband Rick in these outings.
Jill is grateful to have Katherine as her Maid of Honor, appreciating her organization and planning skills. Jill feels lucky to have such a wonderful friend by her side on this special day.

Andrea is the bride’s big sister, and the bond these two share is something truly special, built on years of laughter, inside jokes, and unwavering support through every stage of life.

Together, they’ve created countless unforgettable memories and share a connection that only sisters can understand. Whether it’s celebrating life’s biggest moments or getting thru some of the tough ones thrown their way they stand together. 

Having Andrea by the bride’s side on this special day feels only natural, as she’s been there for every important moment leading up to it

Allison is Bill’s daughter, and she was his first choice to stand with him on this special day, he knew she was mature enough to take on this role. 
 Allison loves playing Ringette and has been coached by Bill on a lot of her teams.  She has recently taken up a liking for skateboarding, and just like in life when she falls, she gets back up again.  She also loves cheering Bill on at his hockey games and defiantly his biggest fan.
Allison and Bill have an unbreakable bond, she is not only his daughter, but also the joy of his life.  Bill is so proud of the young lady she is becoming .

If you ever see Bill and Rick together, you know their bromance runs deep.     Bill and Rick met four years ago through Jill & Kathrine, and they instantly had a connection.    Rick, a coffee connoisseur and sports fan, quickly connected them.   Both Rick and Bill enjoy spending time with their wives/ fiancée, and they feel fortunate to have "couple friends" to share activities with. The four of them have traveled together and spent many nights playing their favorite card game Wizard!  They enjoy watching hockey and football and  love to get outside and play a game golf and pickleball!   

The wedding day wouldn’t be complete without Rick’s unforgettable presence.
